Ceremonies are experiences. They are moments where you are invited to suspend your everyday lives and, for a short while, be drawn into a shared experience where meaning is give the space it needs to reveal itself. Rarely do people exit a ceremony quoting the introduction that the celebrant read, or remembering the exact vows the bride spoke to her groom, or even who spoke at all; but they do remember how they were made to feel.  In this way, ceremonies are far more than words read from a script, they are
